About The Position

Requirements

• One year as a Human Services Analyst (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Two years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
• Meet the PA residency requirement.
• Be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees federal Medicaid waivers, PA 67/1915(b) HealthChoices Managed Care Waivers, and PA 1115 Substance Use Disorder Waivers
• Guide the development, review, and revision of behavioral health Medicaid policies, bulletins, memoranda, and regulatory materials
• Evaluate programs to determine impacts on behavioral health services, lead required program adjustments, and support program operations
• Direct employee work assignments, set expectations, provide performance feedback, and support staff development
• Provide direction to behavioral health managed care organizations and ensure statewide program compliance
• Participate in cross bureau committees responsible for establishing Behavioral Health HealthChoices contract language
