Human Services Analyst
About The Position

As a Human Services Analyst with the Department of Human Services, you will help move critical mental health efforts forward. This position gives you the chance to build meaningful partnerships and improve statewide services. It is a rewarding way to support stronger, healthier communities across Pennsylvania! This position plays a key role in coordinating major federal grants and supporting statewide training efforts that strengthen behavioral health services. This role will allow you to use your organizational, analytical, business writing, and critical thinking skills.
Requirements
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Be able to perform essential job functions.
Responsibilities
- Examine funding notices and identify requirements for upcoming opportunities
- Prepare grant materials and related program documents
- Track funded projects through virtual or on site reviews
- Create and refine training topics and materials for electronic learning
- Compile fiscal and program information to meet state and federal standards
