About The Position
Petro Service Limited is seeking a Human Resources Student for Fall 2026 in Saint John, NB. This role will support key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and daily HR operations, aiming to create a positive employee experience and strengthen HR processes. The student will contribute to initiatives that shape the workplace culture and will act as a resource for employees, responding to HR-related questions. This position is open to both Co-op and non-Co-op students.
Requirements
- Working toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- A proactive, self starting approach.
- Curiosity coupled with solid problem solving and decision making skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous relevant experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities to help create a smooth and welcoming start for new team members.
- Collaborate closely with the HR Generalist and HR Director to support daily HR operations.
- Act as a resource for employees, responding to HR-related questions and providing guidance as needed.
- Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives that support our people and culture.
