About The Position

A growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to support the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys partnering with employees, improving processes, and making a meaningful impact across the organization. The Human Resources Specialist will serve as a key resource for employees and managers, supporting benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. This role works closely with recruiting, payroll, finance, and leadership to deliver a positive employee experience and ensure efficient HR processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of HR experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment supporting multiple offices
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (ADP experience preferred)
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy

Nice To Haves

PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

Responsibilities

Administer employee benefits and coordinate with third-party vendors
Manage leave of absence programs, accommodations, and related documentation
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation programs
Interpret and communicate HR policies and procedures
Respond to employee HR inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
Manage offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates
Support recruiting efforts through interview coordination and candidate communication
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist with performance review cycles and HR projects focused on process improvement
