The Human Resources Generalist will collaborate with HR Business Partners including the following functional areas: talent acquisition, talent management, development, performance management, employee relations, employee onboarding, HR Analysis/HR Reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred in Human Resources or related field along with SHRM-PHR, SHRM, CP Credentials
  • 1-3 years of related HR experience in areas such as HR Operations or Talent Acquisitions
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems such as ICIMS, Dayforce, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally deal with highly confidential information and maintain the highest level of confidentiality and trust.
  • Excellent PC skills required with specific command (intermediate level) of Microsoft Office suite software, especially Excel.
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to a continuously changing environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, management, and customers.
  • Ability to multi-task with a high degree of versatility and flexibility.
  • Must be solution drive, possess critical thinking, exhibit sound decision making, and maintain an excellent customer satisfaction level regarding HR support.

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and deploying HR programs and initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Business development and knowledge of services and products is the responsibility of all Firstrust employees.
  • Serves as a point of contact for the HR Department and liaise with other subject matter experts to provide exceptional employee experience and maintain confidentiality & data integrity.
  • Partners with HRBP with reviewing resumes and credentials for verification of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirement on an as needed basis.
  • Prepares job postings for external and internal requirements once required headcount approvals have occurred and ensures postings are compliant with Affirmative Action and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinates and schedules interviews for HR Team and Hiring Managers.
  • Partners in screening candidates in accordance with posted and approved requisitions in the talent cycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all pre- and post-hire processes, including background screening and proper tracking of candidates and job openings via ATS. Ensures all information is up to date, supporting Firstrust’s Affirmative Action Program and all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Provides onboarding support by clearing candidates as pre-hires, preparing onboarding communication, conducting new hire orientation, and ensuring all new hires fully complete their electronic onboarding forms.
  • Prepares documentation related to transfers and ensures documentation related to the employee life cycle is accurate and tracked.
  • Assists the HR department with administrative tasks, as requested.
  • Participates in the design of internship/on the job training programs for college/university students along with Cristo-Rey students.
