About The Position

Turner Pest Control is seeking a people-focused Human Resources Specialist to join their People & Culture team. This role will support employees across Florida locations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The specialist will contribute to recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, HRIS administration, employee inquiries, compliance, training, and engagement initiatives. This position serves as a primary point of contact for employees, ensuring HR processes are accurate, efficient, and aligned with company policies and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of human resources or administrative experience, preferably supporting recruiting, onboarding, benefits, or payroll.
  • Foundational knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and applicable employment laws.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday, ADP, or comparable HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment and onboarding in a multi-site or field-based organization.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support across Turner Pest Control's Florida locations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, HRIS administration, employee questions, compliance, training, and engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employees.
  • Ensure People & Culture processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company policies and values.
  • Support all People & Culture functions and other departments as needed.
