About The Position

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist with 2+ years of experience to join our Human Resources Division at our office in West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale, FL. We are looking for a candidate who can provide impeccable customer service and is committed to providing our staff with excellent HR support and teamwork. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive HR professional who takes ownership of responsibilities, anticipates needs, and independently drives HR processes forward in a fast-paced, growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Division with a broad range of functions and executing and administering core HR processes. The role is primarily operational and focuses on coordination with recruiting activities, onboarding and offboarding employees, maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS data, administering performance management processes, producing workforce reports, and supporting HR programs. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2+ years of human resources experience preferred
  • Experience with an HRIS system (Dayforce would be perfect)
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of time management skills with the ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive materials
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of employment visas

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage new hire orientation to include scheduling and facilitating
  • Prepare offer letters and new hire packets
  • Process new hire paperwork including scheduling background screenings, pre-employment testing, I-9, and other HR-related documents
  • Coordination of recruiting including scheduling interviews and follow-up with candidates
  • Maintain HRIS employee databases
  • Work with HRPB to configure Goal Setting and Performance Reviews in HRIS system
  • Track Goals and Performance Reviews – provide report to HRBP & Division leads
  • Responsible for communicating Goal Setting & Performance Reviews
  • Plan, coordinate, and communicate company and office events
  • Respond to internal HR-related inquiries and request
  • Track and Manage Tuition Reimbursement, Professional Certifications and Referral Program
  • Provide Headcount & Turnover Reports
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed
  • Work on projects as required
  • Maintain Years of Service and reporting
