About The Position

As a Human Resources Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting employees and leaders by delivering high-quality HR services and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the department. Provide front office HR support by assisting employees, applicants, and visitors, answering questions, and delivering excellent customer service both in person and over the phone. Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, assisting with hiring events, and helping manage applicant tracking activities. Play an important role in onboarding new hires by coordinating pre-employment requirements, ensuring compliance, and presenting New Employee Orientation. Maintain accurate employee records, including licensure and certification tracking, and support system-wide compliance efforts. Assist with performance management processes, including maintaining appraisal systems and supporting pay-for-performance initiatives. Maintain and update job descriptions and HR systems, while providing administrative and clerical support to the HR team.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, and understand English

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of Human Resources or administrative experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HR-related systems (HRIS, applicant tracking, timekeeping, and performance management platforms) preferred
