The Human Resources (HR) Specialist supports the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of qualified candidates to meet the workforce needs of Thurston-Mason Behavioral Health Administrative Service Organization (TMBH-ASO) and Olympic Health & Recovery Services (OHRS). Serving as a key partner in talent acquisition, this position coordinates and administers recruitment activities, develops candidate pipelines, facilitates hiring processes, and promotes a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate for our HR Specialist position in a small but mighty team is friendly and approachable to staff members, supervisors, and external parties with working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws that are essential to accomplishing personnel related tasks. This individual possess strong recruitment and talent acquisition skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to build positive working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional organizational and communication skills, and is committed to providing an outstanding candidate experience that attracts diverse, qualified candidates that align with our organization's values and mission. Thurston Mason Behavioral Health Administrative Organization (TMBH-ASO) and Olympic Health and Recovery Services (OHRS) is a quasi-governmental organization that is responsible for the network of behavioral health crisis services in Thurston and Mason counties and is a licensed behavioral health agency with multiple programs assisting the most vulnerable population in our community through crisis services, jail services, hospital diversion, housing, and houseless outreach.
