About The Position

The HR Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates. This role supports organizational staffing needs by posting job openings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and ensuring compliance with hiring regulations, including employment eligibility verification and background checks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3+ years of recruiting or HR experience preferred
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes, employment laws, and hiring best practices
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, including ADP
  • Proficient using PC, via keyboard/mouse, and various software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite and Kronos).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity and privacy of confidential information.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and quickly assess and respond appropriately to questions.
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend and comply with GMP rules and Food Safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work as contributing member within the team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Post job openings on internal and external job boards, company career page, and other recruitment platforms
  • Review applications and conduct initial candidate screenings (phone, virtual, or in-person)
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates
  • Conduct and/or facilitate background checks, employment verifications, and pre-employment screenings
  • Process and verify Form I-9 documentation in compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements
  • Ensure all hiring practices comply with company policies and applicable labor laws
  • Maintain accurate and organized recruitment records and applicant tracking systems
  • Communicate professionally with candidates regarding application status, next steps, and offers
  • Partner with HR and leadership to support workforce planning and hiring strategies
  • Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Other duties as assigned
