We are looking for a High-Volume Human Resources Recruiter, based in our Manhattan, NY Securitas office, to help support Security Officer hiring across multiple branches in the area. In this role, you will drive large-scale recruiting efforts by posting and managing job announcements, partnering with agencies and community organizations, and leveraging multiple sourcing channels to maintain a strong candidate pipeline. You will participate in job fairs and hiring events, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate closely with area and branch leadership to meet aggressive staffing goals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, demonstrates strong knowledge of recruiting best practices, and brings exceptional organization, attention to detail, and communication skills. You will play a key role in scaling our workforce across the area and ensuring a consistent, engaging new hire experience for all candidates.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume recruiting, talent acquisition, and HR operations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions, hiring events, and start dates simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail with a compliance-focused, process-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and leaders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, applicant tracking/onboarding platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Oracle, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical, solutions-focused approach to improving recruiting workflows and operational efficiency across multiple locations.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.; and 3+ years of related experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies potential sources for recruiting Security Officers, such as through job fairs, associations, community organizations, advocacy groups, government agencies, military transition centers, vocational/technical schools, colleges and universities.
  • Develops ongoing effective relationships that will result in increased applicant flow of security candidates, by on site visitation with possible sources.
  • Determines effective media campaigns, with guidance from Area or Branch management, such as advertising (print, radio, television), posters, flyers, etc.
  • Conducts initial interviews prior to candidate referral to Branch office(s) for secondary interviews and screening.
  • Participates in applicant screening; administers surveys and interview enhancement tools, and refers potential candidates contacted at job fairs, etc., for follow-up interviews.
  • Reviews employment applications and evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications and requirements of applicants.
  • Reviews job orders and matches applicants with job requirements, utilizing manual or computerized file search methods.
  • Informs applicants of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, company and union policies, promotional opportunities, and other related information.
  • Maintains records of applicants not selected for employment.
  • Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.
