About The Position
St. Camillus is seeking a Human Resources Recruiter to support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations in a healthcare environment. This role partners with leadership to attract and retain top talent while ensuring compliance with all employment laws and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ year HR or recruiting experience (healthcare preferred)
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices, a bonus!
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Dayforce/Ceridian experience a bonus!
- Ability to prioritize, work independently, and build positive relationships
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
- Partner with managers on hiring decisions, offers, and compensation recommendations
- Maintain candidate communication and manage ATS records, Dayforce
- Conduct background checks and ensure compliance with WI Caregiver Background Check law
- Coordinate onboarding, including screenings, orientation, and training
- Lead new hire orientation sessions
- Support employee relations, performance management, and policy guidance
- Assist with compensation analysis, salary administration, and job descriptions
- Participate in investigations, reporting, and HR policy development
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and maintain confidentiality
