Terms of Employment: 12 Months Reports To: Director of People Operations and Culture Job Summary: The Human Resources Receptionist assists in efforts related to the Human Resources Department of Chester Community Charter School (CCCS). This position assists in all activities in the department including but not limited to filing, record keeping, employment verification.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, Associates Degree preferred
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (ChildLine)
  • FBI Fingerprint Check
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated Knowledge of: Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Demonstrated ability to: Handle multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to: Work well with team members
  • Demonstrated ability to: Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to: Problem solve effectively

Responsibilities

  • Performs all clerical functions and record keeping for the HR Department
  • Communicates with current and past employees on who to speak with regarding HR related matters
  • Answers the phone and fields calls to specific HR department employees
  • Supports the Director of People Operations and Culture and others in the HR department to ensure its smooth operation
  • Responsible to filing and maintenance/archiving of personnel files
  • Responsible for complete various types of employment and personnel verifications
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
