Requirements

  • At least one year of HR experience, including payroll processing and HRIS work
  • Knowledge of HR laws, policies, and procedures
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Professionalism under pressure
  • Dependability, honesty, and flexibility

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage biweekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now, ensuring every employee is paid accurately and on time.
  • Enter and maintain employee data, including promotions, transfers, separations, and time‑off policies.
  • Coordinate the full new‑hire process, from paperwork and I‑9s to E‑Verify and orientation materials.
  • Respond to questions about payroll, benefits, policies, and job openings with clarity and professionalism.
  • Maintain personnel files, organizational charts, and employee directories.
  • Assist with or lead engagement events like recognition breakfasts and the annual employee picnic.
  • Complete employment and income verifications and oversee the organization’s notary process.
  • Contribute to wellness initiatives, engagement programs, and other HR projects that strengthen our workplace.
  • Perform additional HR duties as needed.
