About The Position

The Human Resources Operations Associate provides administrative and operational support to the HR department and assists with the day-to-day execution of HR processes. This role supports the efficient delivery of HR services by maintaining accurate records, assisting with New Employee Orientation (NEO), coordinating routine activities, and serving as a first point of contact for employees and stakeholders under the guidance of senior HR operations staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
  • This position requires a background check.
  • In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check.
  • The holder of this position is designated as a “Responsible Employee” pursuant to their role under Title IX. Therefore, the incumbent must promptly report allegations of sexual misconduct, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse by or against any student, employee, contractor, or visitor to the University’s Title IX Administrator or any divisional Title IX Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Provide front desk and intake support for HR Operations, including staffing coverage and triaging inquiries received through ServiceNow and the HR general mailbox.
  • Ensure Front Desk, Onboarding sessions, and NEO sessions are staffed
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
  • Maintain HR booking calendar and coordinate meetings
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain search materials and documentation throughout the recruitment process in accordance with established procedures.
  • Timely process NEO and onboarding paperwork in Workday
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and personnel files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support onboarding and New Employee Orientation (NEO) activities, including preparation of new hire paperwork, coordination of orientation logistics and materials, employee communications, and completion of assigned Workday processing/ reporting.
  • Perform data entry and assist with the preparation of routine reports, dashboards, and HR metrics.
  • Respond to general employee inquiries and route more complex issues to the appropriate HR staff member.
  • Support HR space organization, asset tracking, and coordination of supplies and inventory.
  • Assist with maintaining the HR service booking calendar and providing scheduling support as directed.
  • Support student workers and temporary staff by providing task assistance and escalating issues to HR Operations leadership as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing routine correspondence, and maintaining files.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable labor laws through accurate recordkeeping and adherence to established procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • May assist with special projects as requested by the HR Leadership Team.
  • During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off campus location or place of residence.
