About The Position

As an HR Manager, you will serve as a strategic and hands-on business partner supporting assigned divisions and functions. You will lead and execute across the full employee lifecycle -from recruiting and onboarding through development, performance management, and employee relations. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. You will coach leaders, strengthen team performance, ensure compliance, and help build a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience with strong employee relations focus
  • Working knowledge of recruiting systems, tools, and processes
  • Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws
  • Proven ability to coach leaders and influence outcomes
  • Strong organizational, project management, and prioritization skills

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Experience in warehouse, distribution, construction, retail, or similar environments
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting to meet hiring goals, improve time-to-fill, and elevate quality of hire
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, selection strategies, and hiring decisions
  • Coach leaders at all levels on performance, engagement, and development
  • Support the development of high-performing, accountable teams aligned with business goals
  • Drive the performance management process, including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans
  • Partner with leaders to address performance issues and elevate overall team effectiveness
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent practices
  • Foster a positive employee-owner culture through engagement initiatives and team-building efforts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal and California employment law
  • Maintain high standards for documentation, consistency, and risk mitigation
