About The Position

We’re currently seeking a skilled and people-focused Human Resources Manager to oversee and lead all aspects of our HR operations, with a special emphasis on recruiting, employee relations, compliance, training, payroll administration, and overall team engagement.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of progressive HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and best practices
  • Experience processing payroll and managing payroll systems
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters professionally
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead all HR functions in accordance with DoubleTree by Hilton standards and applicable federal/state laws.
  • Partner with the General Manager and department leaders to support staffing, development, and culture goals.
  • Recruit, interview, and assist in selecting qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Administer new hire onboarding, employee orientation, and training programs (compliance, safety, guest service, and anti-harassment).
  • Maintain compliance with labor laws, OSHA regulations, and internal policies.
  • Address employee relations issues and manage investigations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
  • Support and coach managers on performance reviews, corrective action, and staff development.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations.
  • Manage timekeeping records and coordinate with third-party payroll providers when necessary.
  • Oversee benefits administration, employee leave, and workers' compensation processes.
  • Monitor workplace safety and serve on the hotel’s safety committee.
  • Maintain up-to-date personnel files, handbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Prepare and manage the HR department budget.
