About The Position

Greenville Metals is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for the site. In this role, you will partner closely with operations leadership to align Human Resources strategy with business objectives, while ensuring effective policy administration, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, and HR programs, for locations in PA and CA while serving as a key advisor to plant leadership and employees across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in employee relations, compliance, and talent management.
  • Working knowledge of employment law, wage and hour regulations, and workers’ compensation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Proven ability to manage conflict and diffuse difficult situations.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree in Human Resource Management is a plus.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and administer plant HR policies, including attendance, work rules, and leave programs.
  • Partner with operations leadership to align HR strategies with business needs and workforce requirements.
  • Advise and counsel management on employee relations issues and conflict resolution.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing, and organizational design efforts.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried roles to meet operational needs.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives across the site.
  • Support succession planning, talent development, and training programs.
  • Partner with leaders to resolve employee concerns and improve workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Oversee workers’ compensation program administration and related processes.
  • Maintain HR metrics (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill) to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage HR programs including compensation, benefits, safety, and records retention.
