About The Position

Eaton’s Bussmann Division is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager. This is an on-site position based at our Ellisville, MO location. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The Human Resources Manager is the site HR leader for the Ellisville campus and Distribution Center, responsible for delivering both strategic and operational HR leadership in a complex, union and non union environment. The role partners closely with site and divisional leadership to drive workforce effectiveness, employee relations, compliance, and talent outcomes while supporting business transformation and operational continuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources

  • Knowledge of employee relations (investigations, performance management, corrective action)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with recruiting/staffing and talent/performance cycles
  • Minimum of 3 years working as HR in a manufacturing or distribution center setting

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior HR business partner for the Ellisville campus and Distribution Center, advising site leadership on workforce strategy, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead employee and labor relations, including investigations, corrective action, performance management, grievance handling, and support for union contract administration and bargaining activities.
  • Partner with leadership to lead organizational change, including workforce reductions, restructures, role redesign, and the introduction of transformational technology.
  • Own and execute the TalentHub performance lifecycle for the site, including goal setting, development planning, self assessments, manager assessments, and calibration.
  • Support workforce planning and staffing, partnering with Talent Acquisition on hiring, onboarding, internal movement, and succession planning for hourly, professional, and leadership roles.
  • Lead site level talent reviews, succession discussions, and development actions to strengthen leadership capability and bench strength.
  • Support compensation and rewards processes, including merit planning, hourly wage increases, equity reviews, and market analysis in alignment with Eaton policy and budget guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor agreements, and Eaton policies, serving as the site expert for policy interpretation, risk mitigation, and governance.
  • Drive employee engagement and communication, including employee listening actions, recognition programs, roundtables, and leadership communication cadence.
  • Own the annual HR operating cadence for Ellisville, ensuring timely and effective execution of performance cycles, talent processes, compensation events, and employee relations priorities.
