Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Understanding of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Superb time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism, while exercising discretion.
  • Solutions driven and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and other tools.
  • Reliably commute to or planning to relocate to Torrance, CA.
  • Up to 20% travel required within the Southern California region.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the administration of HR programs such as compensation, benefits and leaves, disputes and investigations, performance and productivity, disciplinary matters, recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from candidates and employees.
  • Track and document compliance with training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Manage the performance review process for assigned groups
  • Support HR initiatives and reinforce company policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Monitor timekeeping and PPTO requests and prepare attendance reports.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs.
  • Assist with orientation, onboarding, and processes new-hire paperwork.
  • Maintain physical and digital employee files, including, onboarding, benefits, and attendance records.
