About The Position

In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and staff, providing guidance on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources principles, employment laws, and best practices
  • Experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and leadership support
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and coaching skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification preferred
  • Five plus years of progressive Human Resources experience in a nonprofit, or mission-driven organization preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support recruitment and staffing strategies to attract and retain top talent
  • Partner with leaders to strengthen employee engagement, performance, and team effectiveness
  • Develop and coordinate leadership development and training initiatives
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and performance improvement
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR regulations, and organizational policies
  • Support HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, job descriptions, and workforce planning
  • Analyze workforce trends and HR data to support informed decision-making
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and service excellence
