About The Position

Earthjustice's Human Resources’ Recruitment team is seeking a fall 2026 intern. We are seeking undergraduate students who share a passion for justice and a healthy environment. As an intern, you’ll work under the supervision of the Recruiting Operations Manager and Sr. Recruiter and collaborate with members of the broader HR team. The intern will support day-to-day recruiting activities while also assisting with HR projects, gaining insight into how hiring practices, compensation, and effective HR systems come together to support employees and organizational impact. The fall 2026 Human Resources intern is expected to work 12 weeks at 20 hours/week. The successful candidate may work remotely from within the U.S.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a college/university program with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May 2029.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Great interpersonal skills – strong written and verbal communication skills, good listener, and able to troubleshoot issues.
  • Enjoys learning and working in team settings.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Earthjustice’s values of Justice, Excellence, Inclusion, and Partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Draft job postings in Applicant Tracking System (Jobvite)
  • Support administrative aspects of the hiring process, including drafting offer letters and sourcing
  • Assist with maintaining accurate recruiting data, documentation, and candidate records
  • Assign various required HR trainings for staff and assist with HR reports
  • Assist with HR projects as needed
  • Participate and observe in team meetings, as appropriate
