Requirements

  • A desire to pursue a career in Human Resources working in the construction industry.
  • Ideal candidate will have previous work experience in an office environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and stated objectives while managing shifting priorities.
  • Detail oriented and thorough.
  • Works well as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software programs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US PCL will not sponsor an employment visa (e.g. H1-B, etc.) for this position 18 years of age or older.
  • Available to work in Denver, CO, full time from May 18th, 2026 to August 7th, 2026.
  • Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluent in Spanish is preffered.

Responsibilities

  • Get exposure to the various areas of Human Resources including recruitment, workforce diversity, training, professional development, health & wellness, and HR special projects and general administrative functions
  • Assist with research, coordination and administration of Human Resources programs and initiatives
  • Support the implementation of corporate and regional initiatives
  • Assist the HR team with planning and executing Denver District initiatives
  • Compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation
  • Undertake research projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
