About The Position

Federated Insurance is seeking a motivated and curious HR Intern to join their team for Summer 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore the many facets of Human Resources through job shadowing, project work, and professional development. The intern will rotate through various areas of the HR department, gaining exposure to employee benefits and wellness programs, leave administration and workers’ compensation, talent acquisition and recruiting strategies, employee relations and engagement initiatives, HR systems and data management (HRIS), and special projects and cross-functional collaboration. The intern will work alongside experienced HR professionals, contribute to real-world tasks, and participate in team meetings and trainings. By the end of the internship, the intern will deliver a presentation to HR leadership summarizing their experience and key takeaways.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Graduating with undergraduate degree between November 2026 and June 2027.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
Professionalism and a customer-focused mindset.
Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Not an H1-B visa or similar temporary work authorization.
