About The Position

This internship program is designed to provide interns with valuable learning experiences in Human Resources. Interns will apply HR concepts and policies, develop a working knowledge of various HR disciplines including General HR, HR initiatives, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition, and gain a thorough understanding of how the HR function supports business goals. The program aims to lay the foundations for a successful career in Human Resources, with potential exposure to other HR areas.

Requirements

• Studying towards a general degree in Human Resources, Business, or another related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a part of a team, build relationships, solve problems and communicate effectively
• Looking for a self-starter that takes initiative
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Drive HR initiatives and continuous improvement through various intern projects
• Assist with various aspects of HR and work with managers on employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, career development, and talent acquisition
• Assist in creating tools and employee resources
• Help gather, analyze, and interpret employee data (e.g., turnover rates, engagement survey results) to inform HR strategies and decisions
• Assist team with candidate workflow, onboarding, and exit processes
• Collaborate and provide administrative assistance to HR team on Ad Hoc related projects
• Gain exposure to various HR specialties such as Benefits, Recruiting, HRIS
