About The Position

Emerson Power and Water Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Intern for Summer 2026 at their Cranberry Township, PA location. This internship offers hands-on experience in supporting employee engagement and communication initiatives, including employee events, internal communication campaigns, and social media strategies. The role involves creating engaging content for social media and employer branding, supporting internal communications, developing a communication calendar, coordinating surveys and focus groups, and maintaining the internal HR SharePoint site. The intern will also contribute to improving communication materials for university relations and campus engagement.

Requirements

  • Pursuing degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communication or similar field (junior or senior year)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work on-site in Cranberry Township, PA
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Responsibilities

  • Help create engaging content to boost employer brand presence in social media and local community.
  • Support the creation and distribution of internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, and HR updates.
  • Creating employer branding content, including employee testimonials, visuals, and branding materials.
  • Create a communication calendar and coordinate the scheduling of campaigns for social media and internal use.
  • Coordinating internal interviews, surveys, and focus groups to gather authentic employee insights.
  • Updating and maintaining our internal HR SharePoint site for employee communications.
  • Contribute to improving communication materials and content used for university relations and campus engagement activities.
