About The Position

M.C. Dean is seeking an HR intern to support the organization for the summer. This internship is part of an Early Internship Program for Summer 2026. M.C. Dean is Building Intelligence™ and designs, builds, operates, and maintains cyber-physical solutions for critical facilities, secure environments, complex infrastructure, and global enterprises. With over 7,000 employees, their capabilities span electrical, electronic security, telecommunications, life safety, automation and controls, audiovisual, and IT systems. They are committed to building the next generation of technical leaders in electrical, engineering, and cybersecurity industries.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a high school degree or equivalent
  • Strong working relationship and critical thinking skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work initiative and attention to detail
  • Customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use MS Excel and Powerpoint; database/or reporting software to do analysis a plus
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline and detailed-oriented work environment
  • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating in a team environment
  • Passion for learning with a wide degree of creativity and curiosity

Responsibilities

  • Assist in high priority HR initiatives and programs.
  • Involve internal projects and group initiatives related to improving HR and talent management operations and the overall employee experience.
