About The Position

We are seeking a Human Resources Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. The Human Resources Intern will support various teams across our People Resources function with a primary focus on Talent Acquisition. U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located in Appleton, WI and will start at 425 Better Way, Appleton, WI 54915. We are excited to be transitioning to our new corporate headquarters during this internship timeframe, and this position will eventually be located at 222 W College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
• Junior or Senor status preferred
• Ability to recognize opportunities for new, creative, and innovate solutions
• Proficiency in oral and written communication, including proper use of English, grammar and punctuation in business correspondence
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, HRIS experience a plus
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities while producing excellent work results
• Ability to professionally network with peers in the market
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support Talent Acquisition AI initiative projects
• Support recruitment efforts, including hiring events and candidate tracking
• Assist with scheduling, coordination, and tracking of intern events
• Help update and format HR communications, policies, and training materials
• Promote and market job opportunities internally and externally
• Benchmark creative job posting techniques and rewrite postings to attract top talent
• Research and benchmark external talent acquisition innovations, practices and technologies
• Assist with process improvement projects
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
