We are actively looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our Long Beach office. As part of the Global HR Group, the intern will work closely with the California based team. Requirements

  • Working towards bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related degree
  • A Junior or above to be considered
  • Microsoft office
  • Strong Excel skills preferred
  • ADP or BST experience a Strong Plus
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Strong practice of confidentiality and ethical work
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
  • Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hire

Responsibilities

  • Assists the Total Rewards team with benefit invoicing
  • Assists with LOA tracking and benefit administration
  • Generates pay and benefits-related reporting and analytics
  • Collaborates with Total Reward team on preparation for Open Enrollment
  • Prepares Employee Action Forms and review for accuracy
  • Provides additional administrative assistance to the Human Resources Team as needed
  • Utilizes Human Resources learning as needed in practice
