Requirements

  • Five (5) years or more of work experience in Human Resources and/or payroll
  • Ability to work nights and weekends during our Pack Season (June-September)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong basic math skills for precise accurate tracking.
  • A solid understanding of HR administration and core employment-life cycle laws and regulations.
  • The capacity to build trust and strong partnerships across the facility through high-integrity service.
  • Service focused attitude, high level of professionalism, discretion and judgement.
  • A service-focused attitude paired with exceptional discretion, sound judgment, and clear, simplified communication skills.
  • Able to advise and explain processes, procedures and concepts in a simplified manner.
  • A collaborative yet independent worker who brings proven organizational and problem-solving skills to the table.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish and/or Punjabi is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and implement local HR Services and Programs in partnership with Plant HR team.
  • Provide general administrative support in HR Office including but not limited to payroll, employee relations, scheduling, recruiting, new employee orientation, and returning employee onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management, answering questions and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with strict discretion during the normal course of business.
  • Oversee timekeeping data, which includes reconciling timecards, reviewing daily/weekly hours, and managing the facility-level meal penalty process.
  • Tackle other duties and projects as assigned to support the team.
