Shive-Hattery has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Generalist with 0 to 3 years of experience. This role provides essential support to our Human Resources team and helps us to ensure day-to-day operations across the firm. Requirements

• Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite; Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
• Familiarity with employment/labor laws and HR procedures
• Must be able to work in an office environment for up to 8 hours
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to travel as needed
• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: We are unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred, not required
• Human Resources Certification (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP) or a commitment to professional development is desirable
• Experience in recordkeeping is a plus
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail in employee records
• Willingness to learn HR processes

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for HR operations and assist business units with HR related needs
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Collect, track and analyze HR data for reporting and compliance purposes
• Assist with compensation and benefits administration
• Facilitate and support our firm's safety program
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support team and organizational goals
