About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist assists with developing and implementing Human Resources programs, policies, and procedures. The position works primarily in the Bakersfield clinic and business office, with visits to residential sites, other CNS locations, and the community. Travel to other California locations is required. The schedule is full-time, weekdays, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The role supports CNS's mission of helping people with traumatic brain injuries regain independence and quality of life.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required.
Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
Proficiency with personal computers, including spreadsheet and word processing applications.

Nice To Haves

Two to three years of prior Human Resources experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement recruitment techniques and procedures and perform duties as requested by the HR Manager and/or HR Director.
Orient new hires to CNS personnel policies, work hours, benefits, and other information.
Maintain company policy and job description binders.
Review and revise the Texas employee handbook, safety manual, IIPP, and other required programs and procedures.
Assist with company compliance with accreditation requirements and preparation for accreditation surveys.
Coordinate with Residential Rehabilitation Management to assist with managing and implementing Human Resources policies and procedures at the residential site.
