About The Position

Miller Electric, an ITW company, is seeking to add an HR Generalist to our Precision Welding Solutions Division. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the employee experience and culture across the division by leading day-to-day HR operations that matter most. You’ll manage core HR functions such as employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and organizational development.

Requirements

Proven HR generalist experience with an emphasis on manufacturing support, workforce development, or similar environments.
Strong relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization.
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.

Experience supporting manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Coach and counsel managers and employees on topics such as performance management, employee engagement, and career development.
Facilitate training, including compliance, professional development, and conflict resolution.
Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all employees.
Assess employee engagement and develop action plans to support a positive workplace culture.
Own and manage the division’s wellness program, coordinating initiatives and events that support physical, mental, and financial well-being.
Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures.
Lead or support special HR initiatives such as talent reviews, change management efforts, and engagement strategies.
Lead recruitment efforts by partnering with managers and the internal Talent Acquisition team.
Conduct interviews, manage offer processes, and ensure an engaging onboarding experience.
Maintain compliance with Affirmative Action Plan requirements.
