Entry Level Human Resources Generalist
About The Position
The HR Generalist role is an entry level position that will learn and complete a variety of routine tasks to support the daily operation of the Corporate Human Resource office. Sierra Lobo offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of War (DoW), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This position is located at our Milan Ohio facility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Must be U.S. citizen
Responsibilities
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute Human Resource programs including but not limited to: compensation, benefits, leave; performance and talent management
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and management. Referring complex and or sensitive matters to management.
- Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
- Recruits, interviews and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Ensures compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
- Performs other duties as assigned
