About The Position

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist - Southern Fulfillment Center role focuses on a broad range of HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, and benefits administration. This position is crucial for supporting the HR department in maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance, and fostering a positive employee environment within the fulfillment center.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of HR experience with exposure to benefits, leave, recruiting, and investigations.
  • Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, EEO, and general employment law.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent confidentiality skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage job posting, draft job ads, post openings, and maintain applicant flow.
  • Screen candidates, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.
  • Prepare offers, initiate background checks, and manage pre-employment steps.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation, ensure completion of I-9 and required documents, and support first-week integration.
  • Receive employee concerns, gather initial facts, and maintain confidential records for investigations.
  • Conduct investigation interviews with employees, witnesses, and supervisors.
  • Summarize investigation outcomes, recommend corrective actions, and support leadership decisions.
  • Provide consistent interpretation of HR policies and support coaching conversations.
  • Manage FMLA processing, including intake, eligibility, notices, and return-to-work coordination.
  • Support the interactive process and documentation for ADA accommodations.
  • Coordinate short/long-term disability claims, follow-ups, and communication with employees.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and leave records, ensuring policy adherence.
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment, including annual enrollment, new hire elections, and qualifying life event changes.
  • Serve as a liaison with insurance carriers and third-party administrators for benefits.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions, claims issues, and plan understanding.
  • Maintain documentation for ACA, COBRA, and other regulatory compliance related to benefits.
  • Manage HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and generating reports.
  • Assist with audits, training records, and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, communication efforts, and culture development.
