About The Position

This is a Short Term Job Posting for the 2026 - 2027 School Year. This position is a 240 Day Contract at the District Office. The Human Resources Employee Relations Manager will oversee confidential/employee documentation, serve as a point of contact for employee disciplinary issues, and provide assistance with interviews and investigations. This role is responsible for scheduling the HR Management Team, assisting with HR Department operations, and developing/leading monthly District-wide Administrative Assistant meetings. Additionally, the position handles unemployment responses and hearings, HR Department IPRA (FOIA) responses, serves as the EEOC point of contact, tracks grievances, schedules induction and recruitment committees, and leads District Wellness initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or 5 to 7 years of supervisory experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources
  • Working knowledge of applicable computer systems, including word processing and database, and spreadsheet software
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Flexibility, organization, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills, in person and on the telephone, with diverse populations

Responsibilities

  • Meet deadlines and work on multiple projects
  • Attend staff meetings and conduct, as may be necessary, training with reference to purchasing
  • Complies with state-approved New Mexico Administrative Code of Ethical Responsibility of the Education Profession and the RRPS Employee Standards of Conduct and upholds and enforces rules, administrative directives and regulations, school board policies, and local, state and federal regulations
