About The Position

The Human Resources Director is a hands-on, strategic leader responsible for supporting Human Resources operations across assigned hospitals and corporate functions. This role partners with executive and operational leaders to drive workforce planning, talent management, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a visible, solutions-oriented professional with a proven track record of problem-solving, leadership, and delivering results in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required
3 Years of related healthcare experience required.
Must be familiar with the hospital organization; functions of various departments; current personnel practices and techniques, including review techniques; training methods; and job analysis.
Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour required.
Familiar with Joint Commission and HFAP standards.

Nice To Haves

Masters degree preferred
Familiar with the labor market, laws, wage and hour regulations, and ERISA guidelines preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
Lead onboarding, employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives.
Support recruitment and workforce development strategies across assigned facilities.
Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR policies, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Analyze workforce data and trends to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Provide guidance on organizational structure, job evaluation, policy interpretation, and leadership development.
Travel throughout the health system as needed to support Human Resources priorities and initiatives.
