About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Human Resources Data Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for supporting the organization’s data and analytics requirements by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on HR data to inform strategic and operational decision-making. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, experience working with large and highly confidential data sets, and the ability to develop meaningful dashboards, reports, and scorecards that support business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, and data analysis functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau, and Python (required) for data analysis, reporting, visualization, and process improvement.
  • Experience working with large, complex, and confidential data sets, preferably in a Human Resources, payroll, or other highly sensitive environment.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and analyzing scorecards, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience interpreting HR data, workforce trends, and metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently while also building strong collaborative partnerships across teams and departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
  • Capability to manage several priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all functions necessary, within the scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to internal customers and the community the organization serves.
  • Collect, analyze, validate, and interpret HR data from multiple sources, including payroll, HRIS, performance management systems, learning management systems, employee surveys, and other workforce-related platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, visualizations, reports, and scorecards to monitor key HR metrics, trends, and organizational performance.
  • Use advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and Python to organize, analyze, automate, and present data in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to support HR initiatives such as talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement, retention, performance management, compensation, benefits, and other strategic priorities.
  • Partner with HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions to business challenges, efficiencies, and workforce needs.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, integrity, and confidentiality of sensitive employee and organizational data through regular audits, quality control checks, standard operating procedures (SOP), and data governance practices.
  • Create, implement, and maintain a quality control (QC) schedule for recurring reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for leadership, providing meaningful insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Manage and work effectively with large confidential data sets, ensuring compliance with all internal policies, privacy standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of HR analytics processes, reporting standards, definitions, and documentation.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging trends, and evolving tools in HR analytics, workforce reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Perform additional duties as required within the Human Resources Department.
