About The Position

Provides day-to-day HR support to facilitate all basic HR functions. Works closely with Human Resource Generalists on HR tasks and projects for the department. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The Human Resources Coordinator will manage various HR processes, assist with policy interpretation, and support HR initiatives.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of administrative or Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in human resources or closely related field.
  • Must be detail oriented and consistently accurate.
  • Ability to follow up on outstanding items and communicate gaps or roadblocks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven computer skills in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must successfully complete a background check and any other tests that may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the termination process, including processing in Oracle, scheduling exit interviews, and maintaining trackers.
  • Assist with the administration of Leaves of Absence, including tracking dates, communicating with associates, preparing letters, and managing badge access.
  • Complete Unemployment, Employment Verifications, and Medical support notices.
  • Provide clerical assistance to the HR Department, including preparing presentation materials and drafting letters.
  • Update assigned “How To’s” on an ongoing quarterly basis.
  • Recommend improvements to HR processes and systems.
  • Assist with policy interpretation and adherence.
  • Assist with event planning and implementation, including On-site Health Screens and Open-enrollment.
  • Work with payroll to resolve pay issues and questions.
  • Assist with system transactions in Oracle.
  • Partner with the team to deliver orientation and complete associated tasks.
  • Manage the Tuition Reimbursement program.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
