About The Position

BASIS Ed is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic and growing team in the Scottsdale Central Office. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in HR. As a vital part of our HR team, you’ll provide essential administrative support while learning the ins and outs of human resources in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in human resources; experience with HRIS systems and data entry.
  • Microsoft Office, SharePoint

Responsibilities

  • Processing and tracking all new hire onboarding paperwork.
  • Completing verification of employment and letters of reference for current and former employees.
  • Processing terminations, promotions, transfers, salary changes, name changes, and all other employee record change requests.
  • Assisting with reporting and audits.
  • Maintaining physical employee files and following retention rules.
  • Maintaining Human Resources Information System records and assisting with HR report requests.
  • Assisting School Management with onboarding new employees and fully managing onboarding of all BASIS Ed employees.
  • Assisting School Management with termination requests and calculating final pay, if applicable.
  • Processing all employee change requests including salary and role changes.
  • Maintaining all employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Working closely with payroll to ensure timely and accurate pay for all employees.
  • Providing support for the leave of absence program; assisting with return from leave processing as needed.
  • Tracking employee Fingerprint Clearance Cards and conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with state requirements.
  • Completing employment verifications.
  • Assisting with internal and external audits as needed.
  • Demonstrating HR knowledge and capturing trust of management and employee populations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
