About The Position

The Human Resources Co-Op will be responsible for handling a wide range of support-related tasks focused on general HR matters and projects in the areas of onboarding, recruitment, benefits and HRIS. This role will be a highly resourceful team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, and efficient. This role requires the highest level of confidentiality regarding all Cannistraro information. We're seeking an enthusiastic and detail oriented Human Resources Co-op to join our team and contribute to various HR functions while learning and growing alongside industry professionals.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and considerable attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and good decision making required
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; interacts professionally with employees, candidates, vendors, and other external partners

Responsibilities

  • Assist with HRIS projects and HR data audits to ensure data integrity across HR systems and in functional areas that receive data is accurate and complete.
  • Assist with addressing general employee inquiries and requests.
  • Assist with the coordination of recruitment processes.
  • Assist with new employee orientation and paperwork.
  • Assist with scheduling, planning and execution of team events such as monthly team meetings/lunches, holiday parties, and company events.
  • Assist the HR team with various projects and tasks.
  • Assist recruiter with scheduling interviews as needed.
  • Shadow to learn more about the Recruiting function.
  • Update job descriptions to new format and upload them into the applicable folders.
