About The Position

This is a role for an HR leader who believes people are the engine of every great organization. Sodexo is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner Director to support the Corporate Services segment—a dynamic, high‑impact environment where culture, leadership, and employee experience shape the way thousands of people work every day. This is a remote position with approximately 25% travel. In this role, you will serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executives, vice presidents, and operational leaders. You’ll help define what great leadership looks like, strengthen organizational capability, and build the conditions where people can thrive. Your work will influence the full employee lifecycle—from how we attract and develop talent to how we navigate change, build community, and create workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and inspired. You will lead enterprise‑wide initiatives across change leadership, employee relations, talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. Your voice will shape decisions at the highest levels, ensuring our people strategy fuels long‑term business growth and a culture grounded in trust, inclusion, and performance. This is a role for someone who leads with heart and clarity—someone who can see the big picture, build strong relationships, and guide leaders through complexity with confidence and empathy.

Requirements

  • Strategic HR leadership — the ability to influence senior executives, shape enterprise‑level decisions, and align people strategy with long‑term business goals
  • Union labor experience — demonstrated ability to partner effectively in unionized environments, navigate labor‑management dynamics, and support leaders through contract interpretation and workforce relations
  • Spanish language proficiency — Spanish fluency or conversational ability is a strong plus, enabling deeper connection, communication, and trust across diverse employee populations
  • Business and financial acumen — comfort navigating operational complexity and using insights to guide leaders toward sound, future‑focused decisions
  • Change leadership — skill in guiding teams through transformation with clarity, empathy, and a steady, confident presence
  • Data‑driven insight — the ability to translate workforce analytics into actionable strategies that improve outcomes and anticipate organizational needs
  • Executive presence — credibility, composure, and the communication skills to build trust and influence at all levels of a matrixed organization
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 5 years Human Resources experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor — partner with senior leaders, client executives, and operational teams to align people strategy with business priorities and long‑term growth
