About The Position
The Human Resources Intern role will primarily be focused on assisting with human resources support, employee data, procedures and services for a wide variety of human resources activities. Opportunity to support internal customers to provide guidance with business strategies, processes, communications, and policies. Requirements
- Pursuing bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
- Excellent professional communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with HR sensitive material
- Customer service focus
- Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.
- Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standard and customized processes for human resources to support HR management, business partners and other internal customers.
- Partner with functional leadership to drive talent management/development programs and philosophies consistent with the organization’s strategy, goals, and values.
- Participate in implementation of human resources technology enhancements.
- Support internal talent acquisition including the sourcing of talent, building talent pipelines, and identifying talent gaps/needs.
- Partner with recruiter and hiring manager to set recruitment strategy and oversee recruitment processes.
- Other projects and assignments to support and gain exposure to different human resources.
