About The Position

The Halter Group is seeking a versatile HR Associate with a strong talent acquisition focus to support a growing workforce across a multi-state region. • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR, with demonstrated success sourcing specialty or niche skilled trades positions; experience in UVM, diesel/heavy equipment, or fleet management and maintenance is ideal.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting and applicant tracking systems.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and community partners.
  • Excellent organization and ability to independently manage multiple open requisitions in a remote or hybrid setting.
  • Willingness to travel regionally approximately 30%, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
