About The Position

This position involves supporting Human Resources functions by reviewing official personnel folders and other records to validate Service Computation Dates and perform calculations. The role requires maintaining hard and electronic copies of HR case files, researching precedence and case law, and coordinating with HR staff on case-related materials and Requests for Personnel Actions. Responsibilities also include researching basic HR policies and procedures, scanning documents, inputting data into electronic files/databases, and extracting data for reporting. The assistant will help staff process transactions to update/change personnel actions and provide support for personnel and pay processing problem resolution activities.

Requirements

  • Experience working with USA Staffing
  • Experience with FedHR
  • Experience with EmpowHR
  • Experience with eOPF
  • Experience with NFC Mainframe systems.
  • Experience processing/coding Personnel Action Requests.
  • Experience with HICCUP packages.

Responsibilities
