Through the Canada Summer Jobs Program, we are seeking a motivated candidate to join our Human Resources Department as a Human Resources Assistant. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical work experience across multiple functional areas of HR while contributing to meaningful initiatives that support our employees and promote an inclusive workplace. The HR Assistant will work collaboratively with the entire HR team and gain exposure to a variety of activities, including assisting with recruitment and selection processes, supporting the Joint Job Evaluation process, and helping with basic HR data collection and analysis. They will also help plan, organize, and deliver training sessions on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Mental Health and Wellness, Health and Safety, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, while learning how to apply AODA principles to communication and training formats. This role will provide the candidate with transferable skills in HR technology, data analysis, communication, and program delivery—skills that are valuable in any workplace.
