Join our Human Resources team in a fast-paced environment where you'll help support the pre-boarding of faculty, staff physicians, and other organizational leaders. In this role, you'll guide new hires through the pre-boarding process, answer questions, coordinate required steps, and help ensure a positive experience from start to finish. You will also assist the resident team during peak resident season, helping manage a high volume of pre-boarding activities and ensuring timely completion of required processes. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with people. The ideal candidate can manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, maintain confidentiality, and provide excellent customer service. This role requires strong follow-through, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and a commitment to accuracy. Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • One year office or administrative experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides daily technical support to clients and/or departmental staff members in assigned area of human resources.
  • Researches, compiles, and may analyze data for various projects and reports. May make recommendations to supervisor on Human Resources issues.
  • Processes and/or explains forms to employees and applicants.
  • Provides support to hiring managers, candidates, organizational staff, and HR colleagues in one or more of the following areas: HR information systems (applicant tracking system, HRMS); candidate recruitment/screening; employment processing; compensation administration; training administration; employee relations; and/or equal opportunity.
  • Researches and answers routine to moderately complex questions or issues in compliance with UT-Houston’s policies.
  • Prepares procedures for assigned tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
