About The Position

The City of Encinitas is seeking a collaborative and resourceful Human Resources Analyst to join their small, high-performing team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and two years of related human resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • Level II or III requirements include: Candidates may be recruited from outside the Encinitas personnel system (open competitive recruitment) at the Human Resources Analyst II/III levels with the necessary qualifying combination of education and journey level professional experience.
  • Recruitment at the II level typically requires at least three years of journey level professional experience.
  • Recruitment at the III level typically requires more than three years of journey level professional experience with a comparable governmental agency.
  • Candidates initially recruited at the Human Resources Analyst II/III levels should meet all or almost all of the departmental criteria for advancement of an incumbent Human Resources Analyst I to Human Resources Analyst II or III.
  • A completed application with an attached resume is required.
  • Verification of the legal right to work in the United States is required.
