About The Position

The Company B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland. Position Human Resources Analyst, Edmonton Location and Reporting Structure Reporting to the Superintendent, Compensation & Benefits, this position will be based in Edmonton, AB.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years' SAP SuccessFactors (SF) or alternative Enterprise level Human Resources Information Systems experience with knowledge of best practices, processes, and methodologies is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven and demonstrable technical and functional proficiency with an Enterprise level HRIS.
  • Experience with HRIS integrations, data migration, and system testing.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and mitigate risks.

Nice To Haves

  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) Candidate designation, is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance of system upgrades and enhancements, while also contributing to the development of B2Gold Nunavut's SAP Human Resources applications plan.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies within the SuccessFactors System.
  • Assist with the upkeep of job architecture, naming conventions, data mapping and scripted HR processes and workflows.
  • Provide ongoing support to end-users and administrators, troubleshoot issues, and address inquiries related to the SAP/SuccessFactors HRIS system.
  • Update HRIS and related systems, including Masterfile Maintenance, ensuring accuracy of records.
  • Ensure work is done according to project practices, create and share relevant procedures for business needs. Analyze and document HR processes for internal audit controls.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators. Create documentation, user guides, and FAQs to support system adoption and usage.
