About The Position

The successful candidate will support hiring managers and business services teams to attract and recruit high caliber talent, while building trusted relationships with both hiring managers and candidates. The incumbent will also contribute to HR initiatives and projects that support talent attraction and enhance employee experience.

Requirements

  • Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in human resources, with demonstrated exposure in talent acquisition or as an HR Generalist
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent command of sourcing techniques using an ATS (UKG, an asset), LinkedIn Recruiter etc.
  • Bilingual written and spoken (French and English) given the clientele, mandates, and international scope of the firm.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels of the firm
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven professional environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and client service mindset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn
  • Proficiency in MSOffice

  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support end to end recruitment activities in collaboration with hiring managers, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination
  • Proactively source and engage candidates through various channels to build and maintain a strong and diverse talent pipeline
  • Coordinate interview process, assessments, and communications with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience that reflects and promotes the firm’s values, reputation, and employer brand
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business services leaders and HR colleagues to understand talent needs and hiring priorities
  • Act as a reliable point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
  • Assist with onboarding activities to support the smooth integration of new hires into the firm
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding practices
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and projects related to talent attraction, recruitment, and employee experience
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and performance data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support the maintenance of recruitment data and HR systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality
  • Provide general HR support as needed, including responding to employee inquiries and collaborating on team initiatives
